ByAnnie Project Bag 2.0 with Katherine Nichols
Saturday, May 4, 2024
10:30 am - 2:30 pm, ½ hour lunch break

This class is a step-by-step guided process to make a ByAnnie Project Bag 2.0. Fun and easy to make, these handy zippered bags have sturdy quilted bases and vinyl windows for visibility of contents. A handle at the top may be used for carrying or hanging. Hold and organize everything from sewing supplies to puzzles, games and more in these sturdy bags. During class students will sew a medium size (10.5 in. high x 12.5 in. wide), and the provided pattern (yours to keep) has instructions for four sizes, from 6.5 in. x 10.5 in. for the small bag up to 16.5 in. x 16 in. for the jumbo size bag. This class is for experienced beginners: students should have basic sewing skills and knowledge of their sewing machine (this is not an introduction to sewing or a beginning sewing class). Your registration fee includes an $18 kit fee, which includes the ByAnnie - Project Bags 2.0 pattern, vinyl, interfacing, ByAnnie’s Soft and Stable® foam stabilzer and black zipper (provided color is black; students may choose to purchase a color to match their fabric). Come see the sample bags at the store then sign up to join us! Download your student supply list now »
Note: Students may reserve a shop-provided BERNINA sewing machine but must email their request when registering for the class. You must be familiar with sewing on a BERNINA machine; the instructor will not be able to help you learn how to use the store model during class.

About the Instructor: Artistic Artifacts staffer Katherine Nichols is a life-long sewist and avid quilter. Katherine enjoys teaching (she leads our BERNINA Mastery classes and BERNINA Skill Building sessions) and sharing her love of fibers and fabrics with others!
