WB495 Paisleys Hand Carved Wooden Printing Block Set from India. Includes a total of 13 blocks: a variety of paisley and paisley-influenced florals — reminiscent of many of the beautiful Kaffe Fassett Collective prints. For scale, the elaborate paisley pictured at top left in the box measures approximately 5.5 in. tall x 2.75 in. at its widest point. Packaged in a handmade box measuring approximately 11.25 in. x 8 in. x 2.5 in. Use with our Artistic Artifacts textile paints (or other paint), deColourant, thickened dye and more to create your own surface designs on fabric and paper. Our printing blocks are carved by master craftsman from hard wood, which makes them very durable; to ensure they stand up to lots of use, they are treated with olive oil. Note: because each block is hand carved, sizes are approximate and designs may differ slightly from the photograph. As these sets are packed in India, you may see a minor difference from our example photograph of the total set.
