Artistic Artifacts owner Judy Gula's Rusli Meets Milo project from page 41 of her book Colorful Batik Panel Quilts is a standout in our shop, and with this kit you can create a similar version! In addition to a copy of her book with the cutting and piecing instructions, you will receive 12 different batik panels by Rusli to feature. An assortment of Indonesian and Australian Aborigine-designed fabrics are included for your strip sashing (fabrics will differ from the pictured quilt, and fabric for the outermost border of the quilt as photographed is not included). To complete a quilt the size of Judy's plan to supplement with your own favorite fabric from your stash.
     For scale, the colored portion of the included twelve Rusli panels measures approximately 11.5 in. square; they are 100% cotton and colorfast. Due to their handcrafted nature, each batik panel from Indonesia is individual and unique; product photographs may vary from the actual item shipped. Differences in the sketched outlines, fill patterns, dye color and intensity, and more are common and are to be embraced.
