Product Details
Introduced at BERNINA University 2022, this coverstitch machine features easy air threading! The bernette 62 AIRLOCK is the coverstitch machine of the b60 series. Threading the looper has never been easier and quicker thanks to the automatic air threader: the looper can be threaded with a simple push of a button! The machine has four (4) coverstitches and three (3) chainstitches, and can be used for countless applications in which different fabric types (stretchy fabrics in particular) can be sewn perfectly. The presser foot can be lowered and temporarily raised with the bernette Free Hand System with knee lifter, leaving both hands free to guide the fabric. The slide-on table and matching coverstitch insert increase the sewing area and provide sufficient space for large projects. Thanks to the five LEDs, the large working area is brightly illuminated, facilitating precise and accurate work, easing sewing as well as threading of the looper and needles. Features include automatic air threader for the looper thread; freearm; color-coded threading paths; thread tension release when presser foot raised; stitch length adjustable while sewing; accessories under the looper cover; safety switch activated when cover is open; wide coverstitches (2.8 / 5.6 mm); speeds of up to 1,300 stitches per minute; 5 in. (130 mm) of space to the right of the needle; 7-step presser foot pressure adjustment; seven stitches, with 3 and 4-thread cover stitches, 3-thread coverstitch (wide/narrow) and 2-thread chainstitch; automatic air threader for the looper thread; standard coverstitch foot; slide-on table and matching coverstitch insert; spool stand with needle pad; decorative thread guide; BERNINA CS Lock Tool and BERNINA needle set.
