Fabric“I was a weaver in my previous life, beginning with threads, warp and weft to create fabric,” says Artistic Artifacts owner Judy Gula. “Now I begin with woven fabrics, or not, to create. We tend to choose the unusual and ethnic influenced-fabrics, including Aboriginal Australian, Japanese, Indonesian Combanasi Batiks, with a few surprises mixed in. Because I am a dyer, I love black and white fabrics — they speak on their own or in a dye pot.”
