Artistic Artifacts Annex is located in Alexandria, Virginia. We have a new summer look!!
There is a little confusion about my business- so lets see if I can remove some of the mystery.
I have spent my whole life playing with fabric, I actually have a degree in Fashion Design from Radford University, but my most valuable education came from guilds and friends. Although I was always encouraged to be creative by family and friends the practical side of life said to get the business degree as well. I did. After a few jobs in retail, I settled into the family business, Electrodyne, Inc.
Electrodyne, Inc. sells automotive accessories for European cars, now primarily VW and BMW., primarily wholesale. I continue to work for Electrodyne and grow my Artistic Artifacts business. That is why Artistic Artifacts is open according to a schedule located on the website http://www.artisticartifacts.com/calendar.htm
or by appointment. I still have the day job!! Oh yes and a teenage son.
And when the phone answers Electrodyne 703-823-0202 enter ext. 213 for Artistic Artifacts. When you visit the Annex- look for Electrodyne, Inc. signs in the parking lot. You are in the correct place.
The space that is now Artistic Artifacts Annex used to shelter 3 Porsche Race Cars (not street legal) but now houses, fabrics, embellishments, paint, found objects, ephemera, two classrooms and more!
