Karen Kay Buckley's Perfect Scissors™ in the 7.5 in. size are ideal for cutting single or multiple layers of fabric (up to 4 layers of cotton fabrics). One blade is micro-serrated and one is a regular blade which can be sharpened. The micro serrated blade pulls the fabric into the scissors rather than pushing it away like traditional scissors. This keeps fabric from slipping so cutting is more accurate and also helps to prevent frayed edges. As with all Karen Kay Buckley brand scissors, they have a soft grip handle and a plastic protective cover.
