Nowaki Sashiko pattern from Olympus: a traditional design. 100% cotton fabric in indigo/navy blue, printed with an authentic Sashiko design in a light ink; guidelines will easily wash out after you have completed your project. Design is printed on one half of the approximately 26 inch fabric strip: finished size 33 cm. x 33 cm. square (approximately 13 in. x 13 in.) Fold the panel to stitch the two layers of lightweight fabric for added weight if using for a quilt square, or use the plain half as the backing for a pillow or other project, for borders, to draw your own design or leave plain as desired. Your completed Sashiko panel can be sewn into a pillow, tote or used as a panel in an art quilt or other fiber project. Made in Japan.
