It is designed for an experienced weaver or other fiber artist and provides instructions for making a Tabula Rasa Jacket with handwoven, felted or other handcrafted fabrics. This booklet includes directions for calculating yardage (width and length) of handwoven fabric, preparing hand made fabrics before cutting to prevent fraying, supporting the fabric, assembling the jacket, and finishing methods. Booklet also features suggestions for pattern layouts on narrrow handwoven fabric and for creative use of selvages to embellish a jacket.
