Silamide is Artistic Artifacts owner Judy Gula's favorite thread for beading her quilts! This waxed nylon beadstring is ideal for brick stitch or peyote stitch as well as other beading projects (can be threaded onto any size beading needle.) Great for bead weaving (double for extra strength). Silamide is a two-ply twisted nylon thread — no need to wax — which many beadworkers use as an alternative to Nymo.
