Does threading your serger still stump you? What about tension and stitch variations? No matter what brand you own (your serger does not have to be a BERNINA model but must be in good working order), this class will give you the information and confidence you need to drag it out of the closet and put it to use! This class also serves as the Mastery class for the BERNINA L Series models. For planning purposes, please email us your serger brand and model no. when you register for class.

STUDENT SUPPLY LIST: Please bring the following with you to class: your serger (any brand) with foot pedal, power cord and manual plus all accessories that came with your machine; 4 or 5 cones — they should be different colors — of serger thread (WonderFil’s SoftLoc, Mettler, Guterman, or Maxi-Lock); #80 Universal needles; small scissors and fabric scraps.

About the Instructor: Kathy Lincoln is a BERNINA Ambassador and enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained over decades (and is comfortable working with many brands of sewing machines to support her students). Kathy has a special passion for simplifying techniques, believing in reducing fabric waste and speeding up the process: time is a precious commodity! She has offered lectures and workshops nationally and exhibited quilts at International Quilt Festival in Houston, American Quilt Society Show in Paducah, Vermont Quilt Festival, Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival and more.
