One of the oldest methods of producing photographs on fabric and paper uses a process called “cyanotype.” Images produced with this method are an intense blue color related to exposure to ultraviolet light — and the color can be altered with the addition of other chemicals. About the Instructor: Susan Gantz is a multitalented artist who enjoys a variety of mediums and whose work has been shown regionally in the D.C. area. Susan has has a wide variety of mixed media art experience: polymer clay, alcohol inks, (she admits that she is “addicted” to exploring monoprinting techniques using gel printing plates), eco-printing and so much more.
