Also known as straw needles, Milliner's are long needles which have a shaft that is the same thickness as the eye and a sharp tip, flexible and warp resistant. All Tulip Needles, manufactured in Hiroshima, Japan, are designed specifically for needle artists. Hand-stitching needles have beautiful eyes for easy threading; special processing produces a body of ideal strength. Surface treatments include lengthwise polishing and/or nickel-plating for needles that resist rust and glide easily through fabric. The precision point provides smooth piercing for easy stitching.
