Need a hostess gift or just want to look your best while cooking? Thanksgiving and the winter holidays are coming — sew one of a kind aprons for yourself or as gifts! Join us as we take on the versatile Bacon and Biscuits pattern by Atkinson Designs (purchase required for class). In addition to the Bacon and Biscuits pattern, each student should bring a 24 in. x 6 in. ruler, rotary cutter, cutting mat, a sewing machine in good working order that you are comfortable using, and basic sewing notions. Fabric Requirements: 1 yard muslin, 1/2 yard of theme fabric (if your print is directional, please bring 1 full yard instread), seven (7) assorted strips, 3/4 yard of contrasting fabric. Note that bringing more fabric selections than listed can make a more interesting apron!
About the Instructor: Dudley Shugart, a member of the Burke chapter of Quilter’s Unlimited, has been quilting for decades as well as having years of experience working at quilt shops, including Artistic Artifacts!
