About Kaffe Fassett Kaffe Fassett has inspired people across the world with his colourful work in fabric, knitting, needlepoint, patchwork, painting and mosaic, promoting these crafts through his own work and encouraging others to find their own creativity. A Californian by birth, he moved to the UK in 1964 where, through a series of collaborations he built his name and reputation. In 1988 he became the first living textile artist to have a one-man show at the V&A Museum. He has exhibited throughout the world and has authored many books on colour and design in craftwork. Known and loved by quiltmakers across the world, Kaffe inspires people to work with colour in an instinctive way. Kaffe will be assisted by Brandon Mably, the Studio Manager of Kaffe Fassett Studio in London England for 25 years. Brandon has worked closely with Kaffe in the design, creation, and execution of knitwear, tapestry, patchwork, mosaic, and mixed media artwork.
