Priced and sold per single skein. This gorgeous Sari Silk Ribbon is hand-painted in beautiful tones of Steel Grey, Taupe, Pink and Light Brown, with a wonderful ombre blend between color changes. Each unique skein contains 100 grams of blissful silk fiber (approximately 50 yards). White and light color lush silk sari remnants are reclaimed from the factory floors of India and are sewn together end to end by women's cooperatives, then hand-painted to achieve this color blend. Knit (suggested needles US 10-11) or crochet with this luscious fiber -- finished garments or projects should be hand-washed in cold water; lay flat to dry. Great for embellishing, couching, use as art doll hair... or whatever your creative juices inspire! Photographs are for illustration only; your sari ribbon skein may differ as each skein is hand-painted. If you need multiple skeins of the same colorway for a project, we recommend that you order that quantity at the same time to ensure dye matches, although due to the painterly quality skeins should blend beautifully.Details
