Block printed by hand by artisans in India with wonderful polka dots throughout, this 100 gram (approximately 50 yards) skein includes a variety of silk chiffon weights and textures! These lush silk sari remnants are reclaimed from the factory floors of India and are sewn together end to end by women's cooperatives. Knit (suggested needles US 9-11) or crochet with this luscious fiber -- finished garments or projects should be hand-washed in cold water; lay flat to dry. Great for embellishing, couching, use as art doll hair... or whatever your creative juices inspire!
