Artistic Artifacts is thrilled to present an all new, hybrid Live / Online workshop offered via private Facebook group with Gwen Lafleur!
Flip Art Folio will teach you how to make a handmade folio with many small pieces of art nested inside which will form a layered flip-book. Combine paper and fabric (or choose to work with just one material) along with stamps, stitching (optional,) collage, embellishing, mark making, and more. Gwen will provide templates for the folio and there will be a bonus video prior to the live class where she will show you how to make it and also walk through creating some of the optional handmade embellishments and stitching in her sample — plus ideas for using alternate and pre-made items.
During the live portion of the class class, held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 1:00 –3:30pm Eastern time
, Gwen will lead you creating several different pieces of artwork to layer together, plus assemble and attach your flip book of art inside of your folio. The result will be a beautiful hard-bound folder that can be displayed, tucked onto a bookshelf, or given as a gift! Requirements:
