Class full — register for our Class will take place outside/in our warehouse and is limited to 6 students. Participants MUST wear masks, and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
This workshop is ideal for the person who loves color and the distinctive look of hand-dyed fabric but doesn’t want to worry about preparing multiple dye solutions, or learning the science behind dyeing. We will work in quart-size mason jars and plastic containers — please bring 6–12 jars/containers (quart-sized, MUST have lids) with you to class, and wear old clothing that can withstand an accidental splash of dye. Bring your own fabric (½ yard or fat-quarter sized) At least 3 yards — cottons, silk, rayon — that has been prewashed (do not use fabric softener). In addition to fabric, consider bringing your doilies, trims, hankies, etc to dye. Workshop is $40.00 plus $15.00 for supplies; registrants will receive one yard of Kona or Pima Cotton to coordinate with their own fibers and textiles. Your result will be a huge stash of beautiful, one of a kind textiles! About the Instructor:
