Fusible Thread by Superior
Charlotte's Fusible Web - Fusible Thread For Applique! 115 yard spool, 100% Nylon. Designed with award-winning quilter Charlotte Warr Andersen, Charlotte’s Fusible Web is a Tex 30 nylon thread which melts when exposed to temperatures ≥ 250° F. Developed for labor-saving sewing, this fusible nylon thread will melt and create a bond between two fabrics.
Fuses without the stiffness of adhesive web. Great alternative for fusible appliqué, especially when multiple layers are involved. For use in bobbin (if used as a top thread, it will melt to your iron when pressed unless you use a Teflon or other non-stick craft sheet). Use the hottest iron temperature setting suitable for fabric being fused, apply iron for 10 seconds and allow fabric to cool before handling. To fuse foil to fabric, lay thread in the design wanted, place foil color side up, cover with a Teflon or other non-stick craft sheet and press iron, not more than 10 seconds, to fuse the thread and the foil. Allow to cool before separating the foil and the fabric.
