The Wonders of Eco Printing with Elizabeth Woodford
Saturday, June 8, 2019
10:00 am – 5:00 pm, ½ hour lunch break
Most Supplies Provided!
This is going to be a very high-energy class (size limited to 8 students) and everyone will get immediately to work so we can fit in several projects! In the morning you will create 4–5 sample prints with various leaves and botanicals on small pieces of silk and wool fabrics. This will serve as the beginning of an Eco Print sampler that can be used for future reference. In the afternoon, each student will create an Eco Printed silk scarf. While prints are processing, Elizabeth will provide a trunk show of many of her beautiful Eco Experiments. Your registration fee of $95 includes the $12 kit fee, which covers chemicals, silk scarf blank and purchased specialty botanicals. Students are encouraged to bring leaves and flowers from their own environment to add to the large variety provided by the instructor: download your class supply list with complete information
