Join us for an exciting 3-hour workshop packed with hands-on techniques featuring appliqué by hand and machine, English paper piecing, stitch in the ditch, stippling, and trapunto, all using InvisaFil™ Ultra Lite. Led by WonderFil “Threaducator” Kay Capps Cross, this will be a fun and informative learning opportunity. InvisaFil is a remarkable silk-like 100 wt, 2-ply cottonized polyester with a matte finish, ultra-fine but surprisingly strong. It has cotton-like characteristics and negligible stretch while also feeling soft in the hand. InvisaFil makes for super low bulk stitches and virtually disappears, making it the ultimate choice for English paper piecing, delicate lace designs, fine fabrics, creating texture when micro quilting, or whenever you don’t want your stitching to show.
