WB488 Elephants & Paisley Hand Carved Wooden Printing Block Set from India. Includes a total of 22 blocks: six different elephants paired with wonderful paisley blocks, feathers and other design elements. For scale the two largest tusked elephants are approximately 4 in. across and 3 in. high. Packaged in a handmade box measuring approximately 11.25 in. x 8 in. x 2.5 in. Use with our Artistic Artifacts textile paints (or other paint), deColourant, thickened dye and more to create your own surface designs on fabric and paper. Our printing blocks are carved by master craftsman from hard wood, which makes them very durable; to ensure they stand up to lots of use, they are treated with olive oil. Note: because each block is hand carved, sizes are approximate and designs may differ slightly from the photograph. As these sets are packed in India, you may find some discrepancy with the total number of the tiny miniature blocks included or see a difference from our example photograph of the total set.
