  • Thursday, May 24Gelatin Mono Printing with Elizabeth Woodford. This is an incredibly rewarding class with near-instant results! You’ll use common household items with gelatin trays to create patterns and textures for one-of-a-kind papers and fabrics for use in any mixed media or fiber project.
  • Saturday, May 26Textured Nuno Techniques with Margo Duke. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn from the felting master, Her Majesty Margo! In Textured Nuno Techniques, participants will create a nuno sampler that can be kept and referred to for future felting projects, learning some of Margo’s-award winning wet felting techniques.

  • June 9Silk Screening with Thermofax Screens with Susan Price and Elizabeth Gibson (PG Fiber2Art). If you want to incorporate printed images in your quilts or mixed media projects, you’ll enjoy learning how to print with thermofax screens (sometimes called silk screens). Students will go home with a taped screen and as much printed fabric as they can complete in class!
  • Studio Tech Art Quilt Journey: Part 1 new rescheduled dates: July 14, August 11, [Skip September], October 13 and November 17. Registering for this Part 1 class doesn’t mean you’re a beginner; it means the chance to begin together, form group bonds, and create a safe place to share work. If you’re an art quilter looking to learn or brush up on the basics of design, or a traditional or new quilter wondering what all the “art quilt” fuss is all about, this ongoing Art Quilt class is for you. A minimum of 15 participants are required to run this class, so please spread the word and register now with a friend or colleague.
