Personally Painted Fabrics with Linda Cooper
Saturday, August 12, 2017
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
All Supplies Provided!
Unleash your art-play side in this popular class and learn to paint your own fabrics. The fabrics you will create, with a beautiful soft hand, can be used as backgrounds (take Linda’s afternoon Raw-Edge Broderie-Perse class and spend an artful day creating a beautiful fiber nature scene!), for appliqué and piecing or in any fiber art. Youll paint fabric on stretchers, ironed onto freezer paper; learn to make your own ombres (where colors fade or change gradually to other colors), explore surface design techniques w including glue resists, adding coarse salt, and more. $36.00 workshop fee plus
$17.00 kit fee. No supply list — just bring yourself, wearing clothing that can withstand an accidental splash of color. Take the afternoon Raw-Edge Broderie-Perse class
with Linda to use your new fabrics and make it a full day of creativity!
