Beginner/Refresher Sewing Class with Denise Reuter
(3-days, all ages)
June 27, 28, 29, 2017
6:00 – 9:00 pm each evening
Learn how to sew — or a great refresher class if you haven’t sewn in years — and complete three projects in 3 evenings! Your journey into sewing will begin with learning about your sewing machine: what it does, and the skills necessary to operating it: threading it, filling a bobbin, and more. Your new skillset will move on to learning basic pattern reading, how to lay out a pattern and properly cut it out. Students will learn to sew and finish seams, basic hemming plus how to insert elastic the way the pro’s do it. This class is ideal for those who have purchased a sewing machine but been afraid to use it... who have inherited one, and want to begin sewing with confidence... wonderful parent/teen time... and more!
